Skydiving
Experience the spine-tingling rush of adrenaline like no other. Take a deep breath and leap and enjoy the stunning view of Banja Luka and the surrounding area. As your parachute opens, you will begin to soak in the panoramic spectacle beneath your feet. The only thing distracting your glorious descent to earth will be thoughts about how soon you can make it all happen again.

Rafting
The river Vrbas has served as a proud and welcoming host of the 2009 World Rafting Championship, 2011 European Kayaking Championship and numerous European competitions.
The average water temperature, 10.6*C (17*C in summer), makes rafting possible throughout the year and makes the Vrbas a hot travel destination for rafters from around the world. The rafting routes offer breathtaking views of the Vrbas canyon. Endless possibilities await those daring enough to test the white waters of the Vrbas.

Speleology
The Vrbas canyon and its surroundings are the perfect place for those who enjoy discovery. The region’s limestone and sedimentary rocks contribute to a unique variety of cave and cavern formations.
Mountain Manjaća, near the Vrbas canyon, features some of the deepest caverns in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with depths reaching 300 meters.

Mountain Biking
The rugged terrain of the mountains around Banja Luka offer ideal mountain biking routes that challenge enthusiasts of the sport and supply plenty of adrenaline. Participants will also enjoy the beauty of the natural landscape as they ride.

Climbing
The Vrbas River canyon's steep rocks offer fantastic conditions for doing free climbing. Currently, a dozen climbing routes have been established in the area. After a short orientation lesson, visitors can choose the level of difficulty of their climb (ranging from beginner to expert). Due to the growing interest in climbing, the number of routes increases each year. During the off-season, those wishing to improve their skills can enjoy climbing walls at the local climbing clubs.

Mountaineering
Many mountaineering routes in the Banja Luka area offer great places for mountain climbing and sightseeing.
One can experience the incredible unity of the Vrbas canyon, archaeological findings, Middle Age towns, caves, monasteries, springs and forests all in one location. A number of observation decks to view the surrounding landscape and city of Banja Luka are also available to visitors. Mountaineering homes and picnic grounds will provide places to rest, while village hosts will offer delicious, domestic cuisine specialties.

Canyoning
Canyoning is a combination of mountaineering, repelling from cliff rocks, swimming and climbing. This sport creates the opportunity for an unforgettable experience. Hiking & Trekking
Banja Luka is always eager to share its natural and cultural wonders with visitors. While hiking, one will enjoy getting to know the region's rough limestone mountains, lush valleys, centuries-old forests, crystal-clear rivers, and green mountain lakes.
